Logan Cobras- 7-4-46 Vs Sherwood 4-4-28

A good first up win for Ken Bentleys team. We opened up a hhandy lead only to find it eroded by Sherwood second quarter burst of 3 goals. The game could have gone either way. Luckily our boys worked harder and broke the Magpies resolve to win by 3 goals.A finals berth perhaps? Lets continue the good work versus Caboolture this week.

Under 16 Div 2

Logan Cobras 14.18.102 Def W/Grange 3.3.21

Well done boys, a first up win against good opposition gives us a kick start to the season. Charlie Wellington (30+ possessions)dominated the game with several great runs around the ground, and was best for us today. Ian Risely (7 goals )and Rhys Thomas (5 goals) were great finishers and would have figured in the voting today. A solid defensive effort from Channon Harper and a handy effort from Shane Millerd kept the "Gorrillas" to only 3 goals. A tough game next week vs Jindalee be sure to get a good start next game boys, we cant afford to let the opposition jump us early as they did in this match.

Also congraulations go to Shaun Perovic and Charles Wellington (our captain and vice captain respectively for 2002) on making the powerfull bushrangers representative team in the upcoming carnival.
