Elita Piserchia

Elita.jpg (121831 bytes) Michelle first met Elita Helps while working for Jurlique. They quickly developed a strong, close friendship to the extent that Elita even came to see me play for the mighty Southern Suburbs Rugby Union team just to keep Michelle company. Elita married Vito in August 2004 and Michelle was honoured to be her Bridesmaid and I read a reading at their Service. Elita was diagnosed with Clear Cell Carcinoma of the Cervix in November 2004 and despite the love and care of Vito and families, and many painful operations and treatments, Elita lost her fight just a few weeks ago. We miss her greatly and all our love goes to Vito, Elita's Mum and Dad, brother Mark, and families.

2002

Geoff Martin

Geoff was one of my first email Carcinoid friends. He & his wife Dawn provided my parents with tremendous hospitality. Geoff gave me a lot of information, humour & friendship.

Enzo Pilla

A friend of mine from Rugby in South Australia who lost his fight with cancer in August 2002. Enzo always asked about my health and kept a close but quiet eye on me.

Tony Gray

I met Tony and his wife Merran via email in March 2002 and enjoyed their company and will continue to do so. They're from Western Australia and Tony had a very hard time with diagnosis, pain control and medication in general. Our thoughts are always with Merran and the kids.

Jill Scott

Jill, from Salisbury South Australia, contacted me after finding this site in September 2002 and swapped quite a few emails and the occasional telephone call. Jill couldn't tolerate Sandostatin and had a lot of troubles with Carcinoid Syndrome and pain control. Jill often talked about her family and her love for them and we wish Keith and family our deepest sympathy.
