Drabble: The Little Things

They think no one notices - I mean when they look at each other that way - but I do.  I notice 'cause I'm a detective.

I notice when the Guv shouts at the Boss and drags him off to Lost and Found and ten minutes later they're back at their desks like nothin' ever happened, well except the Boss has this grin like a cat what got cream, his mouth's all soft and red-looking and there's a mark on his neck too.

So I'm not a div, I'm a detective on account of I notice these little things the others miss.
