Drabble: Reflections

Written for the Friday Drabble Challenge on Lifein1973 Friday 5 March 2010.  Prompts: Landmark, Gloating, Hypocrite, Fire and Grandfather.

The man in black gazed up at his place of work - the building he'd almost jumped from his first day here.  The very same building he'd really jumped from back in the future.  A building in the rather ugly brutalist style but a landmark just the same.

Jumped?  It'd been a flying leap and he'd be a hypocrite if he regretted it now.

"Sam, you comin'?"

Sam Tyler dared to gloat.  Right now he was getting into a car with a man who was old enough to be his grandfather but young enough to set heart and mind on fire.
