Chapter Pi
Chapter Pi is relatively unknown, having spent long periods of service at the edge of the Galaxy. Recent reports from the Chapter have warned of increased Tyranid activity at the Galactic Fringe. The Chapter is renowned for its hands-on approach and is often sent in at close quarters to fight the enemy eye to eye.
Note the striking Chapter symbol of Pi, one of the greater mathematical constants, that is worn as their army badge. It is rumored that the Marines of Chapter Pi are recruited from a world of nerds who value logic, efficiency, and above all else: mathematical purity. They are masterful tacticians who are able to exploit the smallest weakness in the enemy and launch precision strikes to maximise their mission effectiveness.
Some famous Marines of Chapter Pi are detailed below. Each has served the Emperor with unquestionable faith, and has delivered optimally calculated death on every battlefield arena with honour.

At times, Chapter Pi need to call upon their Brothers with the second sight to help cleanse enemy Psykers and Warp Beasts. Each of the Brothers pictured below has his own personal litany of deeds to fill volumes in the Chapter's codex. Shrouded partially in mystery, these Brothers insist that they are not singled out for individual recognition, thereby denying their enemies a chance to be forewarned about them. The Brothers prefer to introduce themselves personally to each beast before they dispatch them back to the nether warp worlds.

Captain Kildeas
of the Ultramarines has accompanied Chapter Pi with his
own squad of Brothers for the past few months. Although they each have their own distinguishing traits, they know that the Emperor praises their efforts equally when he sees the result of their deeds. A sudden uprising of Necrons was responsible for the hasty formation of both Chapters to guard the Imperium. |
