was an old saying That if you felt a Unicorn Lords presence on the Tapestry of Life, Lady Destiny is playing one of her ultimate wildcards and the world was along for the ride. The truth of this theory was about to be proved in the form of Vin Tanner - last true Unicorn Lord left on the Tapestry because for all the young tracker's quietness Vin was not a feather whose presence was barely felt on the tapestry - he was in fact a raging chaos storm. Lady Destiny's last true Wildcard was about to be played in a desperate bid to counter the latest idiocy from her many enemies, With the destruction of the Universe building at a idiotic rate she must play her wildcard as best she can. In a desperate move to save the Tapestry itself from Destruction so great it would have to be almost completely rewoven Lady Destiny and the Fates will use their last Mortal Unicorn Lord as the catalyst that hopefully will create a fighting force It was a desperate move as the Seven that made up that force where all Major threads in their own right None of which the Tapestry could afford to lose at that time. Using them this way was a major gamble on Destiny's part as such major Destiny Peices were not made to work so closely together which is why she needed to use her Wildcard He would be the glue Binding those threads into the new Pattern needed Their job to force the changes needed to stabilise the Tapestry of Life against Destruction Destiny was Gambling so heavily on her plan working that it was being reflected on the Tapestry Itself There was a very good reason her Present Destiny Sword was by occupation a Gambler. The Game is Old the Pot the biggest ever and Destiny just put her last Seven Pieces into play lets hope she wins her Gamble so the universe survives one more time. |
