I recently had the pleasure of photographing the Classical Guitar Society of Victoria's Gala Concert at Scotch College in Melbourne.
Guests included Lenny and Slava Grigoryan and as a total Classical guitar fan, I could hardly pass up a chance like this....
I used a pair of D90's..one equipped with a Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8 VR11 and the other
with a Sigma 10-20mm f3.5. Using an ISO of 1600 gave a shutter speed of around 1/100th of a second and what really made it easy was the Nikon's VR capability. The Nikon D90 is an unbeatable camera for
low light performance in the smaller sensor department
Thanks to Kellie Jayne Photography for this.. It seems there was some interest in my Obsession 617....The only guy at the protest rally
with a film camera..thought I should pay homage to Mr Ken Duncan here.
Pagan out doing what Pagan likes to do...looking for birds....Caught with a Nikon D5000 and 55-200mm kit lens (VR on obviously) at full
zoom.
Nice to get some photos featured on my fave band's album covers....
I've noticed a lot of nonsense appearing on a major auction site lately...written by a certain guy in New York who shall remain
nameless....
