Now you can easily shoot 4x5 sheetfilm with complete freedom and leave your tripod at home. The new Razzle 900 or 110B style
camera fitted with the compact 'Razzlok' full frame back is a very usable lightweight 4x5.The camera folds up and is very compact and when opened, allows the stunning imagery of large format photography to be
realised. (please note that larger proportioned lenses require the front element be unscrewed to allow closing of the front door, but this is not as critical on the 900). After seven years of Polaroid
conversions, the 2008 Razzles have evolved as very user friendly LF cameras that can be taken anywhere you'd care to go. I hope you enjoy this website as much as I enjoy making each and every camera shown

It's really very gratifying to have Chris Usher using my cameras in the field, capturing unforgetable images of New Orleans
during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Equipped with several 'Razzles' of various lens/body configurations, he now has camera number five. These images are soon to be released in a book...............
If you don't mind the wait, you can have a Razzle without a lot of hype....but please remember that the demand for my 4x5 hand holdable camera equates
to a delay in getting them out there. If you'd like a choice of lenses, a choice of colours, a choice of models and don't care to wrestle with BS, patents, or have constraints placed on your life,
instead get a lifetime* warranty, I can help. I treat each camera as a new challenge......it's refreshing to make each one different to the one before, hopefully with innovations and new ideas built in. If
YOU have any new ideas that I might incorporate into a camera specifically for you, then let me know. I have currently fitted a wireless flashball to the Pink Cadillac with astounding results, just another
innovation that you could have for minimum cost. Large format should be a pleasureable experience with a minimum amount of fuss, weight and most of all, cost........Cheers and thanks for looking in. |

But here's an idea..... why not use this time to find yourself an ideal lens? Then, come September you can ship it to me and I could incorporate it into a Hand Held Razzle 4x5 camera of your choice in style and whatever options.....for less than $999US including shipping! If you would like a 900 then look for a 150mm APO Sironar N or S as 150mm is the only accepted focal length for a 900. The early Fujinon W is also suitable as it allows easy
closure of the front door without the need to unscrew the front element. Alternatively the 110B body requires the f6.3 version of the Fujinon W or a very compact lens like the 150mm f6.3 Geronar if you
want to deviate from the excellent original Rodenstock 127mm lens and still close the door. Please contact me for further advice on other replacement lenses for the Razzle
Hand Held 4x5....The 110A/B cameras can also accept a 90mm Angulon for the very wide aspect, but it then becomes a little more involved.
