The Targus flash page implies that Olympus and Panasonic work the same, ie same base contacts. Forums report no success or no reliability with the Targus flashes, maybe best to avoid them. Now, does my Olympus FL-50 flash work as TTL on the LX3? - Yes, The Olympus FL-36 and FL-50 (and presumably FL-36R and FL-50R) use the same TTL logic as Panasonic so work perfectly well.
