| June 2020, Olympus is set to carve-out the imaging division to JIP by the end of 2020. The new company name will be OM Digital Solutions. Olympus appears to retain a 5% share in the new company. The Olympus name on products after 1 Jan 2021 will be around for a while but questions remain will it be preserved for any new products developed under the OM Digital Solutions name.
