Ireland and UK Holiday 2015, 28th MayOn to Killorglin Long drive today. Rain on and off, luckily the rain came when we were in the car or inside a building, the sightseeing was 99% rain free. From New Ross area we headed towards Rock of Cashel, and on the R706 we saw a magnificent walled town, Fethard. Took a few pictures but no time to explore, plus it started raining again. Next the Rock of Cashel and thousands of tourists from all over. Then to Cappamore briefly, next Adare with its thatched cottages, then to B&B at Killorglin. Lots of driving, SatNav giving nutty instructions at times, road signs hopeless and easy to miss turns, so a fun driving day. Fethard, ancient walled town.....
