Teaching Notes Perhaps before we can have peace we will need to define, and agree together upon some common definitions so we can all work together to achieve them. By exploring all the possibilities peace can mean students will gain an understanding of the complexities involved with creating peace in the world. What is important to one person may not be relevant to another so the significance of compromise and "win-win" for everybody can be noted. This simple exercise will also students to gain more understanding about each other, particularly what each person values and especially if they are willing to themselves walk the difficult road to peace. Hopefully this activity will instill an appreciation for the responsibility every person must take to create peace in their own lives.
