Teaching Notes Human rights breaches constantly arise in our local and international communities and are certainly presented graphically in newspapers and on televisions.This activity among others in this pack explore many basic human rights issues. To create world peace perhaps we do have to agree internationally upon a common set of rights, but in accepting these rights as being basic and essential for every human being upon the earth, then what are the consequential implications for the way we live and operate in our own communities. What then become our responsibilities ? The questions also arises about how these rights should be sustained and breaches dealt with. But firstly, as this activity primarily aims to achieve, is simply in uncomplicated, non-jargonistic language, to create an explananation of what basic human rights might be.
