She has sung blues, jazz, gospel, folk, comedy, and social commentary songs in concert halls and cathedrals,
clubs and campuses, from Broome to Hobart, Beijing to Memphis, Paris to Auckland, Edinburgh to Tel Aviv,
New York to Seoul, Amsterdam to Dublin, New Orleans to London, Vancouver to Nuku'alofa.

Remarkably May 12, 2013 marks the beginning of Margret RoadKnight’s Golden Jubilee.
Like a fine wine, rare and valuable, time has only enhanced her rich and tasteful singing.
Congratulations Margret and thank you for 50 Years of Award Winning entertainment.

50 years ago, during Melbourne's "folk revival/ boom/ scare", MARGRET ROADKNIGHT first sang professionally at Emerald Hill Theatre's 1963 Sunday concert series.
Sadly, that building is now a carpet warehouse (!) so Margret has chosen renowned jazz club Bennetts Lane as the ideal venue to mark her career "golden jubilee".

That debut was on the afternoon of Mothers Day, hence the replica timing of this intimate concert, with a few long-time colleagues and many songs old 'n' new.

If you were around 'back then' (or wish you were), and think fondly of the particular songs and issues from that pivotal time, then help us celebrate on May 12.

Limited seating, so early booking strongly recommended - and don't wait till Margret's centenary (she mightn't have a voice, you mightn't have your hearing)!!
