pipe jack tunnel including fitout with stainless steel cable
support brackets. Construction of a deep cable pit, with stainless
steel access ladders and platforms, to provide access to the
tunnel. The tunnel is located beneath railway lines and roads
and has strict settlement and environmental monitoring requirements.

The project consists of the stabilisation of an existing tunnel
by filling with concrete and cement grout to protect an existing
watermain that is within the tunnel. This requires inspection
and stabilisation of the 2.1m tunnel to allow the concrete
to be placed in stages followed by grouting to fill the remaining
voids. The work will be carried out in land managed by Parks,
Conservation and Land which is environmentally sensitive.

dams, ventilation shaft collars and presinks. Construction
of site fencing, switchyard footings and foundations, ventilation
fan footings, and provision of water supply from Cordeaux

including welding of steel sections and casting of concrete
lining.
