ABERGELDIE
was established in 1994 with the aim to carry out complex
civil infrastructure and building construction contracts throughout
eastern Australia. The Company has offices in Sydney (Regents
Park and St Marys) and Brisbane (Virginia).
ABERGELDIE
has a motivated, loyal and multi-skilled work force of over
one hundred direct employees comprising of engineers, builders,
administration staff, carpenters, concrete finishers, plant
operators, crane operators, truck drivers, bricklayers, riggers,
drillers, scaffolders, steelfixers, painters and labourers.
ABERGELDIE
is successfully carrying out road and bridge construction,
commercial building, electrical transmission structures, marine
structures, petrochemical facilities, railway infrastructure,
road construction, sewage treatment facilities, stormwater
quality structures, telecommunication facilities, large diameter
shaft drilling, demolition and remediation projects.
ABERGELDIE
operates a quality assurance system to ISO 9001:2000 third
party certified. Abergeldie has a third party certified occupational,
health and safety system to AS4801:2001 and an environmental
system third party certified to ISO14001:2004. Abergeldie
is a licensed builder and holds a restricted demolition licence
in NSW, QLD and ACT.
ABERGELDIE
is a partner in the patented composite bridge girder system
Abergeldie G Beam.
Abergeldie has always had a close association with Ardent
Underground; mine shaft construction company.
This
association has recently been strengthened with Ardent Underground
becoming part of the Abergeldie Group. As a result of this
development all future large diameter shaft projects will
be carried out under the ABERGELDIE MINING banner.
ABERGELDIE
is the overall winner of the 2006 Engineering Excellence award
for its work on Grahamstown Dam.
