This is a bit of a journey through the Adelaide, Hobart (and occasionally Melbourne) dumpsters.  Source of nutrition, entertainment and furtive digging.

The first three months were mostly Adelaide, the next a mix of Ads and Hobs, and the current list is mostly Hobart/Kingston.

Despite the fact that I am now gainfully employed (the second dumpster list ended on my last ever day of uni!) I am, unfortunately, remaining relatively impecunious due to somewhat expensive accommodation choices down here at Kingston Beach. But lets be honest, even when I do have plenty of spare cash, I'm still going to go to the dumpster becasue its fun fun fun!
Anyway, despite the fact that I havent actually updated this website recently, I have actually managed to make a fairly good dent in the local landfill recently with the discovery of a couple of damn good dumpsters. The First was in Hobart, and I was hitting it frequently when I lived in the Hospital accommodation becasue it was (a) incredibly close and (b) all fresh! Yay! My first haul consisted mostly of apricots, and I cant really remember what else I got.
Now that Im not living in Hobart it's not really practical to go to that dumpster anymore, but I have found two locals - a supermarket and a fresh food place, both of which maintain that glorious dumpster habit of large corporations.
Although its not a truly accurate reflection of what I have dived recently, this is reasonably close to what I've managed to score for free:

8 x 600g tins Four bean mix
10 x 450g tins red kidney beans
5 x 450g tins diced tomatoes
6 x 400g sultanas
1 x organic canelleni beans
6 x 10 pack of twinnings earl grey tea
3 x 400g baked beans
3 x 6 pack of breakfast bars (made my ride home tonight much easier)
1 pack of yoghurt topped meusli bars
2 kg tomatoes
1kg quick oats
2kg carrots
500g nectarines
15 individual serves of stir through dolmio souce (a whole carton)
1 Packet mix orange and something cake
Size 12 Nike thongs/slipons (straight to the Salvos bin due to: Like Way too big dude!)
Good qual Philips Mini speakers for my lappy (no power supply but I have battiries and I JUST then found out that my CD power supply gets them kicking along very nicely)
A fair bit of other stuff which doesnt spring to mind but was happily consumed
