Stations of the Cross

Begin each station with: Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for my sins and those of the whole world.

First Station

Jesus condemned to death

My Jesus, Pilate judged you, but you were not guilty. Help me not to judge others, so that You My Lord do not put judgement on me. Amen.

V. Lord Jesus, crucified. 
R. Have mercy on us.

Second Station

Jesus carries His Cross

Jesus, this Cross should be mine, not Yours; yet you take this Cross willingly. Jesus teach me to pick up my daily cross. Amen.

Third Station

Our Lord falls the First Time

Jesus, it is the sin of the world that makes the Cross so heavy. I am deeply sorry for all my sins and I will try not to make those mistakes again. Amen.

Fourth Station

Jesus meets His Mother

Jesus, both You and Mary are in so much pain. I too want to suffer for others by making sacrifices for them. Amen.

Fifth Station

Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry His Cross.

Simon unwillingly assisted You; may I assist You when I meet You in someone else.  Amen.

Sixth Station

Veronica wipes the Face of Jesus

My Lord, You imprinted Your Sacred features upon Veronica's clothe; stamp them onto my heart.  Amen.

Seventh Station

The Second Fall of Jesus

By Your second fall, O Lord, remember how weak we are. Help us not to commit the same sins again. Amen.

Eighth Station

Jesus consoles the women of Jerusalem

Women wept as You passed and You said, "Weep not for me but for your children." How true it is, many times I only think about myself but not others. Amen.

Ninth Station

Third Fall of Jesus

O Jesus, You fall for the third time. You are so weak, but You are so determined to complete Your Father’s Will. Jesus help me also to do my Father’s Will without complaining. Amen.

Tenth Station

Jesus stripped of His Garments

Lord, You live in Your Church. So many times I stripped Your Church from everything that is Holy, only seeing what is earthly. Amen.

Eleventh Station

Jesus nailed to the Cross

Bad people only make Your pain worst. So many times I complain about small pains, so from now on I will suffer silently together with You. Amen.

Twelfth Station

Jesus dies on the Cross

Jesus, You died on the Cross for us. We too have to be prepared for our death. Amen.

Thirteenth Station

Jesus taken down from the Cross

You laid in Your Mother’s arms. I too give myself to You and Mary and rest in Your arms so that You can take care of me. Amen.

Fourteenth Station

Jesus is buried

Lord, You died and were buried, after three days you rose from the dead. You said,“ Whoever believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25-26

I will always pray for all the dead so that they may live again. Amen.
