A sin is
committed when we do not obey the Ten Commandments of God.
A sin is a willful thought, desire, action, word or anything else that is against the law
of God.
The following
sins are deadly sins that we are daily exposed to:
Pride -
unrestrained belief in own abilities.
Greed
insatiate desire for food, wealth or other earthly things
Lust
a sexual indulgence of the body
Anger
a desire for revenge
Gluttony-
desire for excessive food or drink
Envy
longing for someone elses fortunes or qualities
Sloth

Six sins
against the Holy Spirit:
Despair -

Gods mercy - man wanting forgiveness without conversion
Impugning the
known truth to oppose the truth

anothers spiritual good to want anothers spiritual gifts
Obstinacy sin stubbornness,
to continue to sin
Impenitence unrepentant
Four sins
crying out to Heaven for vengeance:
Willful murder
Sin of the
Sodom (Gen. 18:20; 19:13)
Injustice to
wage earning
It is also a
sin if you cause others to sin:
By
participating
By telling them
to do it
By praising
them
By provoking
them to do it
By approving
them
The seven
heavenly virtues that we should obey are:
Faith
trust; belief in Jesus Christ
Hope
feeling of trust in God
Charity liberality to those
in need
Fortitude
courage in pain
Justice
treating others fairly
Temperance
self-restraint especially with food and drink
Prudence
to know the difference between good and bad
We should confess
all our sins so that they maybe forgiven. Jesus is faithful and He will forgive our sins
if we confess them. He will then give us a new start, a new beginning in life. And because
Jesus was victories over evil, He was the sacrifice made for our sins. We too can be
victories if we are faithful.
Note:
Sin is like a
dirty body. We wash ourselves when our bodies are dirty and stinky. After the wash we are
clean and try to remain clean as long as possible. When we sin, we are also dirty and need
to confess our sins so that we can be clean again. The longer we go without sin the
better.
