"Lonesome Dove" #2.

Special precautions have to be strictly enforced with cross-drawing, as the gun leaves the holster pointing back into the spectators unless done correctly.

An official stands directly behind the firer and only one firer is on the range at a time.

"Lonesome Dove" #3.

Firearms are checked by officials at a special loaders bench, and also when the firer has finished the round, at the clearing table, before firearms are allowed off the front line.
