Most of the software available on this site is free and open-source software. However, I still need to make a living. The word "Support" is used here in a mutual sense. I am offering to provide support to you in your usage of any of the software downloadable from this website, in exchange for you supporting me financially.
The "Yearly Subscription" support entitles you to raise as many support requests as you wish within a one-year timeframe, and I will be as responsive and as helpful as I can possibly be in attempting to fulfill said requests.
The "Single Request" support entitles you to raise as single support request within a one-week timeframe, and again, I will be as responsive and as helpful as I can possibly be in attempting to resolve said request.
I also take on contract work when I can get it (which is all too infrequently), and accordingly issue invoices for work performed. The "Pay Invoice" option provides a method for clients to remit on said issued invoices.
The "Make a Donation" support entitles you to raise as many requests as you wish within a one-year timeframe, and I will be as responsive and as helpful as I can possibly be in attempting to resolve said incidents, except that priority will be given to those who have explicitly paid for support. (It also entitles you to feel good about yourself, and to be in receipt of my eternal gratitude!)
Should I consider a support request to be of too great a scope, too difficult, ill-conceived or otherwise inappropriate, I will attempt to negotiate with you a mutually satisfactory compromise. If that is unsuccessful, your payment will be cheerfully refunded (where appropriate).
All support payments will be cheerfully refunded in full should my service to you not be to your satisfaction. (In fact, I believe this is almost always available to you anyway when paying by credit card over the internet - you are entitled to request a chargeback if you feel you have not received what you paid for.)
On successful processing of your payment, Direct One will generate a "Tax Invoice" page, containing a return link. That link will actually take you to my home server for automatic registration, and possibly the gathering of further information from you, but only if my HTTP Server is currently online. If it is not, please do not be concerned. Both you and I will still be notified by e-mail of the successful transaction.
