The lathe after restoration... ok, it's not perfect YET, but it works. The toolpost and three jaw chuck are new, all other parts original. The motor is original, but the mounting bracket was fabricated by my godfather, in whose workshop it now lives. The drivebelt is off a BMW and cost almost as much as a proper one. Ken was impatient and got what was most readily available. The main work was just cleaning, de-rusting and re-adjusting. The legs were repainted because of excessive rust damage.
