We will be on Australian National TV sometime in the next 10 weeks. 7 network contacted us and asked if we would like to have our garden featured on a reality tv show called Australia's best backyard.

AUSTRALIA'S BEST BACKYARDS hosted by Jamie Durrie, is a lifestyle factual series that takes a peek over the nations back fences in order to find the best

3 hosts from Austraila's best backyard

backyards in the country. From the weird and wonderful to the best in design, from roof top terraces to suburban semis and country acreage, we'll showcase all kinds of backyards that meet every budget, need and taste.

Each week Australia's Best Backyards will consist of a mix of inspirational backyards, characters and great information. Along the way we'll find out what the owners had wanted to achieve from their yards and our expert team of landscape designers will explain the pros and cons behind the designs. There'll be tips and ideas which will enable viewers to create their very own piece of paradise.

Each episode of Australia's Best Backyards will consist of five sensational yards all very different and all very unique. At the end of each episode our host and the presenters will decide which yard from the five featured will progress to the final episode. It's not about the biggest and boldest it's all about heart and soul.

At the end of nine episodes there will be nine contenders and Australia will then vote for their favourite backyard. The series culminates in the revealing of Australia's Best Backyard.

The team came up early in April and did the filming. We had been very fortunate in that it rained on and off for the fortnight before they came but had nice weather for the taping. So our garden was a beautiful green. It was amazing to see how much work go into the filming of a piece. The series starts on the 29th of July 2007 at 6.30 pm.
