Timeline Copy

I'd sure like to be able to take a Timeline designed for M/E1 and copy it to M/E2.
(See the Tricks section for a workaround in the meantime.)

Mask Control from Joystick

The Keyer "Box" Mask could be controlled from the Transform Joystick.
In the Transform area, you would delegate "M/E | Keyer | Keyer Wipe | Aspect" in order to control the keyer Box Mask. Then pressing "Detent" (one press) would centre the box; pressing "Centre" (double-press) would make the Box exactly full frame with no softness.

Holding X then pressing "Centre" would make the width Full Frame, Y then "Centre" would make height Full Frame; Z then "Centre" would make Softness 0%.

New keycaps for buttons in the Transform subpanel would be needed. "Aspect" would now say "Aspect/Box". "Keyer Wipe" would now say "Keyer Wipe/Mask".

E-Mem Aspect Ratio Convert

Switching the "Video Settings" preference between 16:9 and 4:3 does more than simply change the shape of a circle wipe. The coordinates of the entire Kalypso view of the world change too. This means that an E-Mem that uses a Transform Engine (for example) cannot be recalled (properly) in 16:9 if it was programmed in 4:3.
So I want a button that you press to convert an E-Mem (or entire Timeline) from one aspect ratio to the other. And back. It should be as simple as multiplying (or dividing) any H-values by 4 and V-values by 3 (if my maths is right) and Z-values by something as well.

If you have a tip that you think would suit this category, please email me using the Contact link above.
