Preview Preferences
Images from the Preview outputs of an M/E, both as a source and on the Switcher Preview bus, can have a Safe Title cursor inserted. Each M/E has its own combination of Safe Title generators.
In addition to a "Center" and "Grid" overlay, and a general "Safe Title" and "Safe Action" overlay, there is a User-definable area for each M/E. The horizontal lines are equidistant from the centre, as are the vertical lines. Until 4:3 Safe Title/Action lines are available as options, you can make the User Lines do the job.

Though no horizontal value is required for 14:9 broadcast, since the entire picture height is visible on a 4:3 monitor (letterboxed), a small amount of safe area is allowed for the program to be broadcast to widescreen viewers.
