Kalypso Shortcomings
Petty Cosmetic Problems
When switching between similar menus where some controls are the same, the physical position of the control changes between menus. You'd expect the sizes and positions to have a certain level of consistency, and not to look like somebody's hobby web page.
Examples include the "Base Color" area in "Matte | Pgm/Pst" and "Matte | BKGD", or the selection grid in "T-form | Transform" and "T-form | Picture".
Some system messages that appear on a K2 panel's Source Name Display are curious: "BYPASS KEYER NOT ENA", and "ROUTER NOT CONNEC". Methinks the software guru forgot about humble K2 control surfaces. It reminds me of the version where the "DSK" menu selection from a Zodiak was inadvertently left in the Kalypso build of the software. Oooops!
