Plan IP addresses
If your station has multiple Kalypso installations, plan for every device to have a unique IP address.
There may be a day when your OB truck and studio combine for a major event, and you may wish to network your facilities together. Having unique IP addresses makes this feasible. Also, engrave/write the IP address on the face (or other visible part) of all your remote Aux Buss controllers. If you replace a panel, it's easier to create a new definition with the Kalypso menu than it is to re-program the panel to match the one it's replacing, so you need to identify its address quickly and easily.
