Physical Outputs feeding External DVEs
Feed External DVE Inputs from Kalypso Outputs 41 to 48 - in ascending order.
The "Eff Send" output card is used to integrate External DVEs (such as the DVEous) into the Kalypso. Outputs 1 & 2 on that card are designed for DVE1, outputs 3 & 4 are for DVE2, 5 & 6 for DVE3 etc. Always feed your external DVE Video In and Key In from the card's first outputs (Output 41 and Output 42). If you have more DVE channels, use the next higher pairs (Output 43 and Output 44) and so on.
This will cause these DVEs to appear in the first (and second, third & fourth) button positions in the "External Loop" select area of the "ME | Effects Send" menu. If you don't do this sequentially from the top, the "External Loop" Selects will have "unselectable" buttons before the selectable ones, or be out of order - definitely messy, and possibly leading to error or confusion.
