AUSTRALIA

INTRODUCTION

Australia has a fairly egalitarian society, without the excessive divisions between the rich and poor than can be found in places such as America. The good level of services and social security, lack of a substantial racial underclass and high average education makes the country an attractive one for the resident and visitor alike - if a little lacking in global competitiveness.

This section incorporates most of the Australian information and links that would otherwise have been spread all over the site. The major exceptions to this process are following:

- the page about My Home (which has close local links and information); our flag
- the Books and Writing section (which has some distinct Australian content);
- the People on the Internet page (which has Australian chatting and dating links);
- the Law & Politics section (which has dedicated Australian pages);
- the Love & Life page (which has Australian banking and finance section); and
- the Sex & Sexuality page (which has Sydney and Australian industry-based links); and
- the Webcams page (which has a number of sites relating to webcams in Australia).

This isn't meant to be an authoritative guide to everything that Australia (in particular) and Sydney have to offer, but should be more than helpful for the discerning tourist and Sydneysider alike. The overall aim for the section is to help anyone here get more out of life.
