The Quiz Show creates considerable interest in local knowledge, in Centre happenings and all retailer sales specials while providing great entertainment. The "Battle of the Schools" generates community spirit and is a must for Education Week activities!. The format is as follows: questions are supplied by Encyclopedia Brittanica each heat has four rounds of 10 questions between each round, a bonus point question is given - consisting of local knowledge, supplied by sponsor or local press; and music supplied by in centre music retailer and/or participating local radio in "Battle of the Schools",two schools compete daily over a four day period resulting in four schools in each category (primary and secondary) competing in Knock Out semi finals and then grand final on the last day of promotion This production emphasises not only community spirit and general knowledge, but the entertainment value of an academically based event!
