Screens Jets Heaven
Launched on Friday 31 May 2002
Jill Jones' book Screens Jets Heaven: New and Selected Poems was launched - along with two other excellent Salt Publishing titles, Kate Fagan's The Long Moment and Kate Lilley's Versary - at the 2002 Sydney Writers' Festival. The books were launched by Chris Emery, UK poet and Salt publisher, and the event was chaired by Clive Newman, Fremantle Arts Centre Press (which is distributing the books in Australia).
The venue was packed and the books all sold out. It was reported that at least two of the authors were out celebrating poetry until 3am the following morning.
